If required we will arrange a home visit at your convenience to assess your removal needs and provide you with a removal quote. You can ask any questions about the removal. Sometimes people may forget things at the appointment; it may be easier for you to make a list of questions prior to the appointment. You can of course phone the office if there is anything you need to clarify.

 

Alternatively, we have a removal estimate form to fill in on this web site. We can give you an estimate over the phone as we take averages from prior removals.

 

Please note that removal estimates are not quotes, we will never give a fixed removal quote over the phone.

 

Johnson and Johnsons Removals keep the removal prices clear and concise, as it our belief this gives our clients peace of mind and helps the removal to be as stress free as possible.

 

Johnson and Johnsons removals charges are quite simple £60 per hour. We do work on a 4-hour minimum, which is £240. The £60 per hour is based on a truck and two porters, if you wish for more porters there is an additional charge of £10 per extra porter.

 

There may be a supervisor on the day of removal, please note this is a highly trained supervisor of removals. He is there purely as a supervisor not a porter. Occasionally the Manager supervises on a removal; this is to ensure the removal teams run according to our high standards. Again he is not there as a porter.

 

Booking the removal

 

If you are happy with our removal estimate, you will need to book your removal with us.

 

We take provisional bookings although we will not be able to hold the removal date until you have confirmed with us either via e-mail or by post. Therefore, to avoid disappointment you should book your removal as soon as your solicitor notifies you of your completion date.

 

To book your home removal with us, we will have to check the availability. Then you will receive a draft e-mail to fill in. You will need to return the completed acceptance form to us. If for example the removal is from London then we do require a deposit of £240, this is to safeguard against fraudulent removals.

 

If something goes wrong with your completion date and we know you cannot always book removals far in advance we would still try to accommodate you, if we have any availability. We would however still need a confirmation from you whether it be in letter or e-mail form.
