You will need to ensure that the Johnson and Johnsons Removals vehicle can gain access outside your home; it may be a case of asking your neighbours to leave a large enough space so the removal vehicle can park. The removal vehicles are all H.G.V. this is for your benefit as it does mean the average three to four bedroom house could possibly fit in the removal vehicle, which means generally a one-trip removal to your new house. Unfortunately, the parking will be your responsibility.

When the removal team arrives, the driver/manager will introduce himself to you. He will need access to walk around the property. This is so he can plan the operation, and check all of the boxes are labelled accordingly. Please point out any items that are fragile or need extra special attention. Any specific removal instructions should be dealt with prior to the removal day i.e. notify us if you have any large or unusual articles, or if dismantling is required

Whilst the manager is talking to you, the two porters will be bringing down the tail lift and begin unloading the transit blankets, mattress protectors and sofa and chair covers.

If you have any queries about the removal please speak to the manager. The manager is there on a supervisory role only.

Once the removal vehicle is loaded, walk around the house with the manager to check all items to be removed has been loaded.

Once the articles have been relocated to your new home, unpack the necessary items, turn on the television, phone for a takeaway and unwind, you deserve it.
